The Challenge
The entity managed pension fund files separately, using different tools and systems, without a unified vision. This fragmentation complicated the monitoring of each file and the traceability of operations. The organization needed a solution that would centralize processes, offer a comprehensive view of all positions, and leverage synergies with the application already implemented for investment funds.
The Strategy
ARENA proposed the development of a pension fund file management module that is fully integrated with the Investment system but designed to operate independently. The strategy included the creation of specific functionalities for contingencies (death, redemption by heirs, seizures and others), as well as a Comprehensive Consultation that clearly groups pension and investment positions. In addition, a common customer/account module was incorporated that allows data to be updated in real time in MAPFRE’s central database.
The Results
With the new solution, pension fund file management has been centralized in a single tool, improving efficiency and reducing process dispersion. Users can now access a global view of positions and consult operations more quickly and reliably. Integration with the corporate database guarantees up-to-date information, while alignment with the Investment Funds solution enhances synergies and ensures consistency in operations. In short, this is a firm step towards the digitization and optimization of pension management.
