The Challenge
The entity needed a technological solution that would simplify the management of corporate events for US issuers linked to their clients’ issues.
The main challenge was to efficiently process the information submitted by depositaries and comply with the strict regulatory requirements of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). In particular, it was critical to be able to generate the information templates required for Qualified Intermediaries, ensuring accuracy and traceability throughout the process.
The Strategy
ARENA designed and developed a modern web application, based on Java and Angular, which acts as an interface between the information received and the required models. The strategy focused on building a robust and flexible system with a clearly defined front-end and back-end architecture that would allow for both intuitive user interaction and the execution of complex business rules. In addition, the solution incorporated the ability to automatically compare data with the entity’s internal systems and provide clear reports to facilitate decision-making.

The Results
With the implementation of this tool, the entity was able to automate a highly sensitive process and reduce the risks associated with manual errors. Users now have a clear interface for processing information and generating the models required by the IRS quickly and accurately.
