Management of Investment Fund Files
The Challenge
The entity needed to modernize and automate the management of investment fund files. Until now, this process was carried out manually using an AS400 system, which led to inefficiencies and risks of error. In addition, the lack of a centralized repository made it difficult for other business areas to use the information. The company needed to take a leap toward digitization to offer its users a more agile, secure, and modern experience.
The Strategy
ARENA proposed the design and development of an intuitive web application, backed by its own database, capable of managing investment files from end to end. The solution was based on data centralisation, automatic communications with third-party systems and a parameterisable flow model to adapt to different scenarios. User profiles with different permissions and functions for locking, unlocking and partially saving files were also incorporated, ensuring control and flexibility in operations.
The Results
The new platform has enabled the transformation of manual management into a digitized process, reducing processing times and errors in file handling. Users now have access to a uniform corporate environment, with a more user-friendly experience and the ability to download documentation generated automatically at each stage. In addition, the centralization of information in a single repository opened the door to future integrations and analyses, consolidating a solid foundation for the scalability and evolution of the business.
